Early Childhood Music Exploration:
Animal Adventures in Music! (Ages 3-6)
Animal Adventures in Music is a one-on-one private lesson program designed specifically for young learners ages 3 to 6. It’s a wonderful introduction to music that is super fun!

- One-on-One Teaching. Unlike busy group classes, your child receives my focused attention. This personalized approach allows them to progress at their own pace, learning techniques like rhythm, pitch, and musical dynamics through interactive games and activities.
- Explore 10 Different Instruments In this 10-level, structured curriculum, your child will meet a new animal friend in each book who introduces them to a different instrument! Over the course of the program, students gain exposure to 10 instruments, including the voice, piano, guitar, drums, violin, flute, and more.
- Three Fun Ways to Learn. Every lesson is split into three segments to keep preschoolers active and focused:
- Table Time: Working in their story-based activity book to learn music theory and note recognition.
- Rug Time: Getting active on our special music staff rug for high-energy games that reinforce rhythm and musical expression.
- Stage Time: Hands-on exploration and listening time with the instrument of the week!
- Medals Motivate Kids: At the end of each level, kids receive a medal to celebrate their achievement. Kids love these medals! They are a great way to motivate kids to work hard and complete each book.
- Graduation into Private Lessons: By the time your child completes the program (typically 1-2 years), they will be able to read and clap complex rhythms, identify basic music symbols, and read notes across the three octaves of the Grand Staff. They will be well prepared to transition into private instrument lessons on their chosen instrument.
