About

My name is Liz Chang. I’m passionate about kids’ music because of the wonderful music teachers I had as a child. My musical training began at age 3 singing in church choir and taking Orff classes. At age 5 I began piano lessons. I later joined a competitive choir and played oboe in a youth orchestra, touring internationally with both. These musical experiences growing up gave me the firm foundation in music that I hope to develop in my students.

I continued my study of oboe performance in college. As a music educator, I have taught individual lessons, group music classes, and choir. I have been a member of our church band for over 15 years, playing keyboard and singing .

A mother of four kids ages 12, 8, 3 and almost 1, I am also an experienced home educator.

I have a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California, where I later earned my MBA.
